NEURO 204: Neuropsychology: Theory and Implementation 

 

The aim of the module is to gain advanced knowledge and understanding of classical and modern theories in neuropsychology, neuropsychological functions and the way they modulate behaviour as well as the clinical profile and the aetiology of neuropsychological syndromes. The students will be taught on a) research methods in neuropsychology, b) anatomy, functions and related disorders after cerebral lobe damage, c) cerebral asymmetry and disconnection syndromes, d) symptoms and aetiology of neurological, psychiatric and neurodevelopmental disorders and e) processes of neuroplasticity and functional recovery.
